The Waterfront Hotel, Donegal
This beautiful contemporary coastal hotel in the heart of The Rosses, with wonderful views to the Atlantic and Inisheane Island opened in 2016. The client, based in Chicago but with Donegal connections, wanted to create a modern comfortable hotel with design details inspired by the Hamptons.
We created a hotel with local influences from the dramatic scenery in Donegal and mixed it with painted panelling, luxury furniture and a huge horseshoe bar adorned with brass and mahogany detailing. The bedrooms are relaxing and reflect the calming surroundings of the coastal location. The 106 Atlantic Restaurant won Best Newcomer from the Irish Restaurant Awards in March 2017.
